Jürgen Klopp criticises leakers of Germany squad

Jürgen Klopp, the head coach of Germany, has criticized those responsible for leaking news about the team list before its official announcement, explaining that his objection is not about the information reaching the media early, but rather the impact it may have on the players.

Klopp discussed the situation of Felix Kaidel after news leaked about the player being included in the national team list before the official announcement, confirming that he made sure to understand how the matter affected him in the hours leading up to the announcement.

Klopp said in his remarks: "I spoke again with Felix Kaiedl last night, and I asked him how the last 16 or 17 hours have been since the news of his inclusion in the national team leaked."

He added: "By the way, I can say that I don't care at all about the news coming out early, and I have no problem with that. I just think it's a bit unfortunate that some people make a living by publishing things before the time when people actually need to know them."

Klopp concluded his remarks by saying: "But in any case, this is the matter."

The German coach has announced a squad of 44 players in preparation for four matches in the UEFA Nations League, dividing the players into two groups.

The first group includes players who will face the Netherlands in Amsterdam on September 24 and Greece in Augsburg three days later, led by captain Joshua Kimmich, alongside Kai Havertz, Jamal Musiala, Nico Schlotterbeck, Serge Gnabry, and Lennart Karl.

The second group will enter the camp in preparation for the last two matches against Serbia in Munich on October 1, and then Greece in Thessaloniki on October 4. It includes prominent names such as Florian Wirtz, Saïd M'Mala, and Nick Woltemade.
