Mohamed Al-Raihi joins Al-Hussein Irbid after leaving Wydad Casablanca

Al-Hussein Irbid have announced the signing of Moroccan forward Mohamed Al-Raihi, marking the start of a new chapter in the player's professional career after leaving Wydad Casablanca during the current summer transfer window.

The Jordanian club revealed the signing through its official social media accounts by posting a video showing Al-Raihi in the Al-Hussein Irbid shirt, accompanied by a welcoming message that read: "Welcome to the royal club."

Al-Hussein Irbid have not disclosed the details of the contract signed with the Moroccan striker, merely announcing his joining the team in preparation for the upcoming football season.

Al-Raihi embarks on a new professional experience in the Jordanian league, having moved between several clubs in Europe and the Arab region over the past few years.

The Moroccan forward began his football career in the youth ranks of PSV Eindhoven before moving to several Dutch clubs, including NEC Nijmegen and Sparta Rotterdam.

The player later moved to the Arab leagues, where he wore the jersey of Al Dhafra, before experiencing the Saudi Pro League with Al Jabalain.

In the summer of 2024, Al-Raihi joined Wydad Casablanca, beginning his journey with the Moroccan team, which lasted for two seasons.

Al-Raihi has closed the chapter on Wydad Casablanca.

Mohamed Al-Raihi has ended his association with Wydad Casablanca this summer, after spending two seasons at the red fortress, and has decided to continue his professional career outside Morocco.

The Moroccan forward hopes that his new experience with Al-Hussein will give him the chance to regain his strong presence and contribute to the team's goals for the upcoming season, both domestically and continentally.
