Mohamed Abdel Jalil: Pyramids FC are the champions this season

Mohamed Abdel Jalil, the former star of Egyptian football, has confirmed that Pyramids FC are the closest to clinching the title of the Egyptian League this season, while criticizing the performance of Al Ahly FC players in the league.

Al-Jalil stated in radio remarks: "Pyramids FC has three top-level defenders, but Al Ahly FC will not be able to sign any of them. Pyramids FC is the top contender for the Egyptian League, and I feel envious of the performance of Pyramids FC's players and their current squad."

He continued: "I will bear the loss of Al Ahly FC in the Egyptian League this season due to my knowledge of what has been happening since last season, and also the Al Ahly FC fans will bear that and be patient with the team."

I am astonished by the performance of Al Ahly FC in the Egyptian League, and the idea of downplaying Al-Hussein Amouta is unacceptable, as he is a great coach.

Former Al Ahly FC star stated: "It is still early to judge Amouta, and the match against Zamalek SC will be his last chance to reassess his situation."
