Alejandro Garnacho faces a tough start since his loan move to Aston Villa from Chelsea, which includes a €50 million purchase option.

Garnacho has not started any match in the Premier League so far, and his participation has gradually decreased; he came on as a substitute against Brighton with 4 minutes remaining, then played for 12 minutes against Arsenal and 15 minutes against Hull City, before remaining on the bench during the loss to Nottingham Forest by a score of 2-1.

Data indicates that Aston Villa manager Unai Emery prefers young George Hemmings, aged 19, on the left wing, while Garnacho has fallen behind several other options in the coach's plans, including Buendía and Alisson, in addition to Ibrahim Mbaye, who joined from Paris Saint-Germain for €55 million in the final days of the transfer market.

Garnacho could get a chance to feature against Coventry in the third round of the EFL Cup, especially with Emery looking to make changes to his lineup. The Spanish coach had previously confirmed his desire to see Garnacho return to the form he showed with Chelsea and Manchester United, but the player's start at Aston Villa has not gone as expected.
