Fabregas discovers treasure at Real Madrid as Jacobo Ramón shines at Como

Jacobo Ramón, former defender of Real Madrid, continues to shine with Como in Italy, having become one of the key players relied upon by manager Cesc Fàbregas since the start of the season.

Jacobo Ramón, born in 2005, has become Como's most featured player so far, having started all five of the first matches and not being substituted in any of them, completing a total of 450 minutes on the pitch.

The Spanish defender has joined Como from Real Madrid, with the royal club retaining a buy-back option for three seasons. This deal underwent careful scrutiny by the Italian club's management, given their prior knowledge of the player's potential.

Cesc Fàbregas had praised his young defender after the win against Parma by a score of 2-1, a match in which Jacobo Ramón scored his team's first goal following a pass from Nico Paz.

Cesc Fàbregas said: "When we signed him, Danny Guindoos, Como's assistant coach, was training him when he was young at Real Madrid. We knew everything about the player and his character, and that is very important. He has developed more than we expected, and I thought he needed more time, but since day one he has been performing at a fantastic level, and I am very happy with him, his mentality, and his desire to improve every day."

Ramón is delivering impressive performances despite only being in his second season in Serie A, having spent most of the previous stages of his career in the Spanish third division.

The Spanish defender has the ability to play in multiple positions within the backline, and he is distinguished by his capability to advance with the ball and move into the depth of the field, benefiting from his speed, intelligence, and technical skills.
