Lebanon's Al Ahed club is close to announcing the signing of Palestinian striker Mohammed Balah, after both parties completed the agreement procedures. The official announcement of the deal is expected to be made in the coming period.


According to a Lebanese sports source, Al Ahly FC has brought in Mohammed Balah alongside Niger defender Yacouba Diouri to bolster the team's ranks.


Mohammed Balah joins Al Ahly FC after a stint with Al-Shahania, where he played during the recent period and participated in the Qatar Stars League.


Mohammed Balah is 32 years old and was born on September 4, 1993. He excels as a striker and can also play other attacking roles. He has previously had professional experiences in Jordan, Oman, Egypt, and Qatar, including stints with Al Ahly FC and Al-Dhafra in Jordan, Al-Orouba, Saham, and Al-Suwaiq in Oman, as well as El Masry SC and Al-Mokawloon Al-Arab, before moving to Al-Shahania.


On the international stage, Mohammed Balah previously represented the Palestine national team, having begun his international career in 2017. He was also one of the standout forwards for Al-Sadaqa SC, winning the Palestinian league title with them, alongside being awarded the Best Player for the 2016-2017 season according to the player's published biography.


Al Ahly FC is expected to officially announce the signing of Mohammed Balah in the coming hours or days, marking a new chapter in his career in the Lebanese league. The team is counting on his attacking experience to enhance their options for the new season.
