Heavy rain threatens FC Barcelona vs Racing match in LaLiga
FC Barcelona are set to face Racing Santander this evening at 10:30 PM Cairo time in the sixth round of LaLiga, with forecasts of unstable weather that could make rain a significant factor in the match.
According to what was reported by "Mundo Deportivo", citing the weather service in Catalonia and civil protection, a wave of storms is approaching Catalonia, with expectations of increased rainfall as the evening hours advance.
Rain is expected to affect FC Barcelona during the match, with heavy downpours likely at times, particularly in the second half.
Unstable weather conditions are expected to extend across most of Catalonia during the night, with particular attention to Central Catalonia, the Bages region, and the coast of Barcelona.
The expected weather recalls the match between FC Barcelona and Feyenoord in the UEFA Champions League, which also took place amid heavy rain. It saw Juan Laporta, the club president, appearing in the presidential box wearing a yellow raincoat.
Despite the difficult weather conditions in that match, Hans Flick's team managed to handle it and secured a European victory by a score of 5-1.
