Harry Kane close to renewing contract with Bayern Münich until 2029

Bayern Münich have made further progress in negotiations with Harry Kane regarding the renewal of the English striker's contract, after his brother Charlie and father Patrick held a second round of talks with the Bavarian club's management over the weekend in Germany.

According to journalists Julian Agardi and Christian Falk, negotiations have made further progress, with a preliminary agreement between the parties for the new contract to extend until at least 2029, while Kane wishes to extend it for an additional year to last until 2030.

Harry Kane's camp is open to the possibility of including a release clause in the new contract, while both parties have agreed not to reduce the player's salary, estimated at around €25 million annually, if the contract is extended until 2029.

One of the current negotiation points is focused on the financial details of the contract in case an extension beyond 2029 is agreed upon. However, both parties are optimistic about the possibility of reaching a final agreement in the near future, which would ensure Harry Kane stays with Bayern Münich for several additional seasons.
