Lance announces departure of Dino Topmöller by mutual agreement

Lance have announced the termination of their collaboration with German coach Dino Topmöller on Tuesday evening, following a series of discussions regarding group life, work mechanisms, and the organization of the coaching staff.

The club stated in an official statement that the Lance management informed Thomas Tuchel of their desire to restructure the coaching staff and make organizational changes. However, the coach did not agree to these adjustments, leading the club's management to decide to terminate his contract, along with the contracts of his assistants.

Lens praised the human side of the German coach, highlighting the 'respect and elegance' he displayed throughout his time with the team.

The club revealed that Toppmöller has also agreed to waive a significant portion of his financial entitlements as part of ending the relationship between the two parties.

Yannick Cahuzac, a member of the previous coaching staff, will temporarily lead Lens starting from their next match against Monaco away.
