Mourinho surprises everyone with 5 changes in Real Madrid's lineup against Elche

José Mourinho, the head coach of Real Madrid, has announced the starting lineup that will face Elche this evening at the Manuel Martínez Valero Stadium, in the sixth round of LaLiga.

Real Madrid's lineup featured notable surprises from Mourinho, who made five changes to the team that started their last match against Rayo Vallecano, in an attempt to give the team more vitality and balance while continuing to collect points in the race for the LaLiga title.

Mourinho has opted to deploy Trent Alexander-Arnold at right-back instead of Denzel Dumfries, while Dean Huijsen appeared in central defence in place of Antonio Rüdiger. Marc Cucurella also returned to the starting lineup instead of Álvaro Carreras.

In midfield, Aurélien Tchouaméni has been given a starting opportunity in place of Bernardo Silva, while the biggest surprise is Arda Güler's inclusion in the lineup over Jude Bellingham, giving the Turkish star a crucial chance to prove himself against Elche.
