Brighton seek to secure Yassine Al Ayari on a long-term contract
Brighton are working hard to reach an agreement with their Swedish player Yasin Al-Ayari regarding a new long-term contract ahead of the upcoming winter transfer window.
According to Football Insider, Brighton are "doing everything they can" to finalize the renewal of Ayari's contract, as the 22-year-old player is considered an important part of coach Fabian Hurtsler's plans.
Brighton are concerned about increasing interest in the player as his contract nears its end next summer, especially with the option to extend it for an additional season.
Brighton are looking to secure Ayari's future early by offering him a long-term contract to ensure his continued presence with the team and close the door on clubs interested in acquiring his services during upcoming transfer windows.
