Flick speaks with Gavi before Racing clash

FC Barcelona conducted their final training session in preparation for their match against Racing Santander tomorrow, Wednesday, in the 5th round of LaLiga at Spotify Camp Nou.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", Hans Flick spoke briefly with Gavi before the start of training, given the midfielder's limited participation since the beginning of the season.

Gavi had started as a starter against Elche, but he was substituted as a precaution after suffering a blow to the knee. He then missed matches against Athletic Bilbao and Rayo Vallecano, before playing 11 minutes against Feyenoord and missing again against Levante.

All available players participated in training except for injured Frenkie de Jong and Rony Bardaji, while Erik Garcia continued to train wearing a mask. Additionally, Jesse Blesio, who is used to training with the first team, took part in the session but has yet to receive any minutes with FC Barcelona.

FC Barcelona have two matches remaining before the international break, starting with a clash against Racing before visiting Sevilla on Saturday. Flick is monitoring the workloads of the most involved players, including Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, Xavi Espart, Kobarci, and Pedri.
