Inter turn the tables on Udinese in Serie A

Inter Milan secured a thrilling 5-3 victory over Udinese on Monday evening at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in the fourth round of Serie A.

Udinese started the match strongly, taking a two-goal lead within the first 16 minutes, with James Abankwah scoring in the 9th minute, followed by Jan Eklind-Kamp in the 16th minute, putting the home side in a difficult position from the outset.

Inter fought back strongly, with Carlos Augusto reducing the deficit in the 26th minute, before Nicolò Barella equalised in the 35th minute, benefiting from a pass by Marcus Thuram.

In the second half, Inter completed their comeback, with Marcus Thuram scoring the third goal in the 57th minute. Francesco Esposito then added the fourth goal in the 67th minute with an assist from Piotr Zielinski.

In the 79th minute, Inter secured the match with a fifth goal through Yowan Loni, while Ibrahima Gueye scored Udinese's third goal in the 90th minute.

With this victory, Inter have raised their tally to 12 points from four matches, sitting in second place behind AS Roma on goal difference.
