Barcelona achieves perfect start for sixth time in LaLiga

FC Barcelona continues its strong start in LaLiga, achieving its fifth consecutive victory against Levante with a score of 4-2, maintaining its sole lead at the top of the standings.

According to "Mundo Deportivo", FC Barcelona's victory at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia raised the number of times the team has achieved five consecutive wins at the start of LaLiga to six occasions.

The last time FC Barcelona achieved such a start was just two seasons ago, during the first season of coach Hans Flick with the team. At that time, Barcelona did not stop at five victories, but continued their winning streak until the seventh match, matching the best start in the club's history, which was achieved by Tata Martino during the 2013/2014 season.

During the 21st century, FC Barcelona has previously achieved five victories in their first five matches in LaLiga on five occasions, with Pep Guardiola in the 2009/2010 season, Tito Vilanova in the 2012/2013 season, Tata Martino in the following season, Ernesto Valverde in the 2017/2018 season, and Hans Flick in his first season with the team.

Barcelona's current strong start is not limited to accumulating points, as the team is also approaching one of the best scoring records in the club's history during the first five rounds of LaLiga.

According to reports from Mundo Deportivo, FC Barcelona has scored a number of goals in the first five rounds that is only surpassed historically by the team from the 1950/1951 season, which netted 23 goals under the management of Ferdinand Daučík.

In that season, striker Cézar Rodríguez scored in each of the first five matches, finishing the league competition with a tally of 29 goals in 27 matches.

Currently, both Raphinha and Lamine Yamal have six goals in their first five matches of LaLiga, despite neither scoring in all five matches.
