New striker for the future of the Black Lions
Younis Mahmoud, the president of the Iraqi Football Association, met with young Iraqi striker Daniel Abadi, a player for Bayern Münich's U17 team, as part of efforts to scout young Iraqi talents in Europe, in preparation for future use with the national teams.
Abadi was born on January 14, 2010, and excels as a striker, in addition to being capable of playing as an attacking midfielder. He is one of the Iraqi players active in the ranks of Bayern Münich.
The young striker joined Bayern Münich's youth ranks on July 1, 2018, coming from SV Germaring, before progressing through the various age groups of the club up to the under-17 team.
Abadi is contracted to Bayern Münich until June 30, 2027, making him one of the promising young Iraqi names being monitored by the Iraqi Football Association, with the possibility of representing the Lions of Mesopotamia in the coming years.
