João Pedro on Alonso comparing him to Benzema: Karim is on another level

João Pedro, Chelsea's forward, spoke about the comparison made by his coach Xabi Alonso between his playing style and that of French star Karim Benzema, emphasizing that there are some technical similarities, but he stressed that the former Real Madrid striker remains on a completely different level.

João Pedro said: "I think maybe in terms of style and the way I play, I like to drop back and I enjoy linking up play with my teammates. But of course, Benzema is on another level."

Chelsea forward said: "I am just trying to enjoy every match and help my team with goals or assists. I am going through a really good period and I am very happy," expressing his satisfaction with the level he is currently showing.
