Press conference highlights for Al Qadsiah ahead of facing Al Wasl

Brendan Rodgers, Al Qadsiah's coach, expressed his pride in his team's participation in the AFC Champions League Elite ahead of the anticipated clash against Al Wasl.

Al Qadsiah's coach explained that the match against Al Wasl comes amid a busy and difficult schedule, praising what his players have delivered since the beginning of the season, and emphasizing his respect for the effort they have put in during the past period.

He added: "I will enter the match with great ambition to achieve victory, we respect all opponents, and we work day and night to prepare the team in a way that makes the task difficult for any competitor."

Rodgers has refused to prioritize one competition over another, stating that Al Qadsiah faces a tough season ahead, but it will also be 'enjoyable and exciting' as the team continues to compete on all fronts.

Nacho Fernández has confirmed that reaching the AFC Champions League Elite is an important milestone in Al Qadsiah's project, pointing out that the club's ambition since its rise has been to reach the highest levels.

Al Qadsiah's captain stated that the team was newly promoted when he joined the project, but it is now present in a major continental competition, emphasizing that the participation is special for him as it is his first experience in it.

Nacho pointed out that the team's spirit is one of Al Qadsiah's main strengths, explaining that the players approach every match with a final match mentality and maintain a continuous desire to achieve victory.

Al Qadsiah host Al Wasl on Monday evening at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, in the first round of the AFC Champions League Elite.
