Launch of new service to organise the most in-demand tickets for 'Asia 2027'

The local organizing committee for the AFC Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027 has launched a new service through the 'Ahlan' app, allowing fans to register their interest in entering the random selection for purchasing the most sought-after tickets.

The service includes Saudi Arabia's three group stage matches, as well as the final, with the possibility of registration for specific categories of fans at no cost.

After the registration deadline, the committee will review all applications to ensure eligibility requirements are met, then conduct a random electronic draw to select beneficiaries for the opportunity to purchase tickets.

The names of the selected individuals will be announced on September 14, with notifications sent via the contact details registered in their accounts, and they will be given a specific deadline to complete the purchase.

Registering interest does not constitute a ticket reservation or guarantee, especially if the number of applicants exceeds the available seats. The purchase process is linked to ticket availability and terms and conditions.

The mechanism prioritizes purchase for Visa cardholders according to the specified system, while the service is part of the local organizing committee's efforts to manage public demand and improve the ticketing experience for the AFC Asian Cup.

The 'Ahlan' app continues to evolve into a digital companion for fans during the AFC Asian Cup in Saudi Arabia 2027, by gathering services and information related to the tournament and the fans' journey on a single platform.

Saudi Arabia will host the AFC Asian Cup 2027 from January 7 to February 5, featuring 24 teams competing in 51 matches in Al Riyadh, Jeddah, and Khobar.
