Yasser Ibrahim to miss match against Abo Qir in Egyptian League
Ahmed Shobair has revealed details about the serious injury suffered by Yasser Ibrahim, defender of Al Ahly FC. He explained the nature of the injury that has affected the player and his status regarding participation in upcoming official matches with the Red Giant.
Shobeir explained in a post on his official Facebook account that Yasser Ibrahim is suffering from severe swelling resulting from an ankle ligament sprain, noting that the player has undergone a medical injection to alleviate the intense pain he is experiencing, and not to prepare him for immediate participation.
The sports journalist confirmed the impossibility of Al Ahly FC defender Yasser Ibrahim participating in the upcoming match against Abo Qir in the Egyptian League due to his lack of recovery. He pointed out that this injury will definitively exclude him from the technical considerations of the coaching staff in the team's anticipated clash.
Shobir concluded his statements by referring to the player's situation regarding joining the Pharaohs, confirming that Yasser Ibrahim has high hopes of joining the upcoming Egypt national team camp. However, there is a clear consensus among the concerned parties about the difficulty of his presence in the camp due to his need for more time to recover.
Al Ahly FC will face Abo Qir on Tuesday at Cairo International Stadium in the fifth round of the Egyptian League.
