Ange Postecoglou, Al-Nassr's coach, and Abdullah Al-Hamdan, the team's striker, revealed the reasons behind the team's setback against Al Khaleej, after the match ended in a 1-1 draw in the seventh round of the Saudi Pro League.

Postecoglou explained that Al-Nassr faced a tough match, highlighting the impact of consecutive match pressures and weather conditions, especially the recent increase in humidity.

Al-Nassr's coach said: "I am not comfortable with the result, but the players did not hold back. We have played a large number of matches in a short period, and everyone is feeling fatigued."

The Australian coach noted that Al-Nassr played in the Eastern Province twice, along with a match in Jeddah, during a limited time frame, emphasizing that these circumstances reflected on the physical condition of the players.

Ange Postecoglou said: "I don't blame the players for the setback, as they gave everything they had. I saw that clearly in the dressing room after the match, and I thank them for the effort they put in."

Al-Nassr's coach criticized the congested schedule of the Saudi Pro League, explaining that playing nearly eight matches in less than a month represents a significant burden on all teams. He cited Al-Hilal's struggle against Neom as an example.

In contrast, Abdullah Al-Hamdan has attributed part of Al-Nassr's struggles to the lack of concentration at the beginning of some matches, confirming that the team is paying the price for losing focus in the early minutes.

Al-Hilal's Al-Hamdan stated: "We enter some matches with a lack of focus, and this makes us suffer a lot, especially when we concede early goals. We need to address this issue before the upcoming matches."

Al-Nassr's striker stated that the pressures associated with playing matches affect the players' concentration, along with some small details that cause the team to start matches at a level below what is required.

Al-Hamdan rescued Al-Nassr from defeat against Al Khaleej, scoring the equalizer in the 72nd minute. However, the team settled for a point, raising their tally to 16 points in third place.
