Al Nassr drop points in draw against Al Khaleej

Al Nassr snatched a point from their hosts Al Khaleej after the match ended in a 1-1 draw on Saturday evening in the seventh round of the Saudi Pro League.

Al Nassr suffered a setback in the race for the top of the Saudi Pro League after dropping two more points in a match where they aimed to continue applying pressure on the leading teams.

Al Khaleej opened the scoring in stoppage time of the first half, specifically in the 45th minute, with Omar Mascarell finding the net, allowing the home side to head into the dressing room with a lead.

Al Nassr attempted to come back in the second half of the match, and Abdullah Al Hamdan succeeded in bringing the game back to square one by scoring the equalizer in the 72nd minute.

Al Nassr's draw brings their tally to 16 points, dropping them to third place in the Saudi Pro League standings after losing two points in the title race.

In contrast, Al Khaleej added a point to their tally, reaching 5 points and sitting in 12th place in the Saudi Pro League standings.

With this result, Al Khaleej maintained their chances of improving their position in the table, while Al Nassr must quickly return to winning ways if they want to continue competing strongly for the top of the Saudi Pro League.
