Zamalek SC vs Rwanda army match date in CAF Champions League

Zamalek SC's first football team, under the guidance of their coach Moataz Gamal, are preparing to face the Rwanda army team at their home ground in the first leg of the CAF Champions League Round of 32.

The first leg will take place in Rwanda on one of the days of October 16, 17, or 18, 2026, while the second leg will be held in Egypt a week later on one of the days of October 23, 24, or 25, 2026.

Zamalek SC has qualified for the 32nd round of the CAF Champions League after defeating AS Port of Djibouti 6-1 on aggregate in the preliminary round. Meanwhile, Rwanda's army team advanced after overcoming the challenge of Congolese side Éagles with a 3-1 aggregate victory.

Zamalek SC returns to the CAF Champions League after a 3-year absence and hopes to achieve their sixth star after the title has eluded the team since 2002.
