Al-Hilal face a new challenge against Al-Taawoun this Saturday evening in the 7th round of the Saudi Pro League, with a clear desire from the 'Leader' to regain their balance after their recent defeat.

Al-Hilal are currently in third place with 15 points from 6 matches, while Al-Taawun sit in 14th place with 3 points, having not won any matches since the start of the season.

Al-Hilal, led by Italian Simone Inzaghi, aims to overcome the shock defeat against Neom in the last round and return to the race for the top of the Saudi Pro League.

In contrast, Al-Taawoun are looking for a result to give them a boost in their campaign, after struggling with a poor start that has placed them among the teams at the bottom of the Saudi Pro League table.

Previous encounters give Al-Hilal a significant advantage, as the two teams have met 32 times in the history of the Saudi Pro League, during which 'the Leader' achieved 23 victories compared to only 3 for Al-Taawoun.

Al-Hilal and Al-Taawoun have drawn 6 matches against each other, while Al-Hilal has showcased its attacking dominance by scoring 81 goals, compared to 31 goals conceded during those encounters.

Last season saw a closer contest between the two teams, as the first round match ended in a 1-1 draw, before the scenario repeated in the second round with a score of 2-2.

Despite the draws dominating last season's encounters, the historical balance strongly favors Al-Hilal, who are looking to translate their previous superiority into a new victory against Al-Taawoun.
