Liverpool continue to monitor Inter talent

Liverpool are continuing their interest in Inter midfielder Aleksandar Stanković, having inquired about the possibility of signing him during negotiations with Inter regarding Curtis Jones's transfer.

TEAMtalk reported that Liverpool explored Aleksandar Stanković's situation during the summer, although signing a new midfielder was not a priority, before Inter decided to keep the player after he returned permanently from Club Brugge.

Aleksandar Stanković is 21 years old and has previously played on loan with Lucerne and Club Brugge, where he caught the eye as one of the young talents in the defensive midfield position.

Despite interest from other clubs, coach Cristian Kivu is determined to keep the player and give him a chance with the first team, while Liverpool intends to continue monitoring him and reassess their midfield options in 2027.
