Zamalek conclude preparations for clash with AS Port in CAF Champions League

Zamalek SC completed their final preparations this evening, Friday, as they held their last training session at the auxiliary pitch of the Defense Ministry Stadium. This intensive preparation comes ahead of the anticipated clash where the team will face their guests AS Port, the champions of Djibouti, in the second leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

The coaching staff, led by Mo'tamed Gamal, is focusing on reducing the physical load on the players ahead of tomorrow's match, as the team underwent a physical session under the supervision of Portuguese Nuno Costa Ribeiro, the fitness coach.

The coaching staff focused on technical and tactical aspects during training, dividing the players into groups to execute a number of tactical drills, while continuously guiding the players before conducting a small-sided game at the end of the session.

Zamalek SC face Djibouti AS Port tomorrow evening at Cairo International Stadium in the second leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

The first leg match, which took place last Friday evening, ended with Zamalek SC winning 2-1.
