Al Qiai criticises performance of Al Ahly FC players

Adli Al Qiai, the former chairman of Al Ahly FC, has criticized the performance of the club's first football team recently, asserting that the players have not delivered the expected performance in the past two seasons.

Adli Al Qiai stated during his appearance on the "Malik wa Kitaba" program on Al Ahly FC channel: "I am one of those who always give the right to the coach to handle technical matters in a way that differs from our perspective, and I don't like the idea that we are right and he is wrong, but sometimes things confuse us when issues persist."

He added: "We have been in this for two years or more, entering the third year now, Al Ahly FC is not providing the quality that it could deliver, and what is expected from it by all its followers, even competitors before the fans and supporters."

Khayri Al Qiai has criticized Al Ahly FC's level in the match against Al Mokawloon Al Arab, confirming that he expected the team to perform better, especially after the preparation period they went through.

He added that the preparation period included many positive factors, saying: "The available time was good, the place was good, the matches and their progression were good, and the number of matches was satisfactory."

He added: "But the indicators up to today are not reassuring, they do not allow us to say: well done, they do not allow us to say, as long as you know what you are doing, we are behind you."
