Al Ahly FC signs Dutch fitness coach for Ammouta's staff

Al Ahly FC has completed the signing of a new Dutch fitness coach to join the first team's technical staff for the upcoming phase, in a move aimed at enhancing the physical fitness of the players in the red team, according to the newspaper "Youm7".

The Dutch coach has arrived in Cairo in preparation for starting his duties with the team and working within the coaching staff led by Moroccan Al-Hussein Amouta.

This move aligns with Al Ahly FC's strategy to avoid a crisis of fixture congestion and the succession of local and continental tournaments. The club aims to enhance the physical efficiency of the players and ensure their continued technical readiness, while minimizing the phenomenon of repeated fatigue and reducing the number of injuries imposed by consecutive competitions.

Al Ahly FC are preparing to face Abo Qir on Tuesday at Cairo International Stadium in the fifth round of the Egyptian League.
