Raphinha wins LaLiga Player of the Month award for August

The Brazilian Raphinha, winger for FC Barcelona, has been crowned the LaLiga Player of the Month for August.

Raphinha has been crowned after a strong start with FC Barcelona, who have won all four of their LaLiga matches so far, thanks to the prominent role the player has played since the season began.

Raphinha started his league campaign with two goals and an assist against Elche, followed by a goal against Athletic Bilbao, and capped off August with two goals against Rayo Vallecano.

The Brazilian winger added another goal against Valencia in September, bringing his tally to 6 goals and 1 assist this season.

Raphinha triumphed in the final voting over Jude Bellingham of Real Madrid, Alex Baena of Atlético Madrid, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Deportivo La Coruña, and Nahuel Tenaglia of Deportivo Alavés, to claim the award for Best Player in LaLiga for the month of August.
