Gattuso before facing AC Milan: I hope to earn points against a team close to my heart
Gennaro Gattuso, the head coach of SS Lazio, has spoken about the upcoming clash against AC Milan, stating that the match holds a special significance for him due to his long years spent at the Lombard club as both a player and a coach.
Gattuso said: "When I was a child, I remember celebrating after a match with FCSB with my father. For me, AC Milan has always been an honor and a dream that lasted for 12 years."
The Italian coach added: "All this love and joy cannot be forgotten, but today I have different work, and I hope on Sunday to get the points against the team my heart belongs to," referring to his wish to lead SS Lazio to another victory despite his emotional ties to AC Milan.
Gattuso enters the match with high spirits after leading SS Lazio to three consecutive victories in Serie A against Bologna, Genoa, and Udinese, allowing the team to achieve a perfect score before facing AC Milan.
