Paladino in line to succeed Allegri at SSC Napoli

Italian media reports, as stated by Sky Sport, have revealed that Rafaele Palladino has entered the list of candidates to take over the managerial position at SSC Napoli, should the club's management decide to dismiss Massimiliano Allegri from his role in the upcoming period.

Allegri's future is under discussion following SSC Napoli's tough start to the season, where the team suffered three consecutive defeats against Como and Inter in Serie A, and then Arsenal by a goal to nil in the opening round of the UEFA Champions League, a result that increased the pressure surrounding the coach.

Despite negative results, SSC Napoli has yet to announce any decision regarding Allegri's future. The coach emphasized after the defeat against Arsenal the need to maintain balance and not to succumb to frustration, stressing that his players gave their all during the match.

Paladino has previous experience in Serie A with Monza and Fiorentina, and he became available after leaving Atalanta last June, making him a potential candidate if SSC Napoli decides to make a coaching change.
