Tensions between Vinicius Junior and some Real Madrid fans do not seem to sway José Mourinho's confidence in the Brazilian star, as the Portuguese coach remains committed to giving the player his full trust, despite the criticism and boos he faced during the match against Inter in the UEFA Champions League.

Real Madrid faced a notable incident during their match against Inter, as Vinicius was booed and faced hostile chants from some fans at the Santiago Bernabéu. Despite this, the player delivered one of his most committed performances in terms of teamwork, successfully regaining possession of the ball 9 times, indicating the defensive effort he is putting in this season.

According to what was revealed by the newspaper "AS", one of the season ticket holders in the front stand spoke about their dissatisfaction with what happened, saying: "Although it was a great night in the UEFA Champions League against a big opponent like Inter, at least four people in our section spent the entire match directing insults at him, even before the game started. This is not normal."

However, Mourinho does not intend to be swayed by these criticisms, believing that Vinicius is still a fundamental part of his project with Real Madrid. While he acknowledges that the player has not yet reached his best attacking levels, the Portuguese coach greatly appreciates the development he has shown in the defensive aspect and his work for the team.

For this reason, José Mourinho has made his decision to start Vinicius Junior against Rayo Vallecano in the match scheduled for Saturday evening, alongside Kylian Mbappé in attack, sending a clear message that the player's position within the team is not up for debate.

Mourinho's vision confirms that the best way for Vinicius to restore his ideal relationship with Real Madrid fans is through the pitch, by continuous participation and getting playing minutes. The coach believes that as the matches continue, the player will be able to regain his physical and technical level that makes him one of the most dangerous players in one-on-one situations.

According to "AS", an incident occurred after the match against Inter, when one of the key players in the Real Madrid dressing room approached Mourinho, expressing his concern about Vinicius Junior's mental state following the boos he received after being substituted near the end of the match.

The player told Mourinho: "Mister, I am worried about Vinicius. After all he has done for Real Madrid over the years, it is not normal for part of the fans to treat him this way. We must help him regain his happiness."

According to the report, José Mourinho understands the message well and discussed the matter with his coaching staff, confirming that Vinicius Junior represents a key piece in his project, and that his psychological and technical recovery will be one of the most important keys to the team's success during the season.

The player enjoys the support of Real Madrid's management, including the club president, especially after recently renewing his contract until 2032, in a move that reflects the club's great confidence in the 26-year-old player and his ability to continue making a difference for many years to come.

The match against Rayo Vallecano will be an important test to gauge Real Madrid fans' reaction towards Vinicius, but it is certain that Mourinho and the player's teammates will continue to support him on the pitch. The Portuguese coach hopes that the match will be the turning point for Vinicius to regain his scoring instinct and attacking touch, allowing him to return to the form that Real Madrid fans are accustomed to, and to prove that the bet on him has not changed.
