Argentine FA awaits Scaloni's decision

Lionel Scaloni, the head coach of the Argentina national team, has yet to provide a definitive answer regarding the renewal of his contract and continuing to lead the 'Tango', amid ongoing negotiations with the Argentine Football Association.

According to journalist Gaston Edul, Scaloni is currently assessing whether he has the energy and motivation to rebuild the project and continue leading the national team for another cycle.

The Argentine coach's contract with his national team ends in December 2026, making his future a subject of great anticipation in the coming period, especially after the exceptional years he has spent at the helm of the coaching staff.

Scaloni took over as coach of Argentina in 2018, and since then he has successfully guided the national team to win the World Cup, the Copa América twice, in addition to the Finalissima title, marking one of the most successful periods in the history of Argentine football.
