Zamalek request postponement of ZED FC match in Egyptian League Cup

Zamalek SC has submitted an official request to the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association to postpone their match against ZED FC in the Egyptian League Cup, scheduled to take place on October 8.

Abdel Nasser Mohamed, the director of football at Zamalek SC, said: "We have sent a letter to the clubs association to postpone our match in the Egyptian League Cup against ZED FC, scheduled for October 8."

He added: "The team is set to face a crucial match against Al Ahly FC scheduled for October 11 in the sixth round of the Egyptian League Cup."

Zamalek are preparing to face AS Port, the Djibouti champions, next Saturday at Cairo International Stadium in the second leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
