Al-Nassr are monitoring Frenchman Kingsley Coman's status ahead of the match against Al-Ain, as the team's winger continues his rehabilitation program at the club's facilities, with his absence confirmed for the upcoming clash against Al Khaleej.

Medical tests have revealed that Koman has a slight tear in his hamstring, making his chances of participating against Al-Ain dependent on his response to treatment in the coming days.

The player is under continuous monitoring from Al-Nassr's medical staff, with his final status for the continental match to be determined based on the developments of his condition and the results of the medical assessment before the game.

Koman's injury occurred during the match against Al-Ittihad in the fifth round of the Saudi Pro League, after Australian coach Ange Postecoglou was forced to substitute him in the 60th minute, bringing on Ayman Yahya in his place.

The match between Al-Nassr and Al-Ittihad ended in a 1-2 defeat for the global team, in a game that saw the French winger suffer an injury that will keep him out of action for the following period.

Al-Nassr will play two matches in four days, as they face Al Khaleej at 9 PM on Saturday at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium, in the seventh round of the Saudi Pro League.

After facing Al Khaleej, Al Nassr heads to the United Arab Emirates to meet Al-Ain at 7 PM on Tuesday at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium, kicking off their AFC Champions League Elite campaign.

Al Nassr are in second place in the Saudi Pro League table with 15 points, trailing leaders Al-Hilal on goal difference ahead of matches against Al Khaleej and Al-Ain.
