Australian coach Ange Postecoglou has finalized Al Nassr's schedule following the match against Al Khaleej, as the coaching staff decided to keep the team's delegation in Dammam for an additional day.

Al Nassr are set to face Al Khaleej at 9 PM on Saturday at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium, in the seventh round of the Saudi Pro League.

The decision to stay in Dammam was made to avoid returning to Riyadh after the match, followed by traveling again to the United Arab Emirates, as the team is linked to a strong continental clash.

Al Nassr will depart for the United Arab Emirates on Sunday, preparing to face Al-Ain in the opening match of the AFC Champions League Elite, with the coaching staff eager to minimize travel fatigue.

Al Nassr will face Al-Ain at 7 PM on Tuesday at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium in their first match of the AFC Champions League Elite after playing against Al Khaleej in the Saudi Pro League.

The coaching staff believes that staying in Dammam gives players and the coaching team more time to prepare for the continental clash, instead of wasting time on the journey back to Riyadh.

The decision comes amid the pressure of matches facing Al Nassr during the current period, as the team seeks to maintain its physical and technical readiness before the start of its journey in the AFC Champions League Elite.
