Meteb warns Amouta: No innovation or solutions on the pitch

Former Al Ahly and Egypt star Emad Meteb has criticized the team's coach Hussein Amouta following a 1-1 draw against Al Mokawloon Al Arab on Wednesday evening in the fourth round of the Premier League.

Emad Meteb stated in television remarks on ON Sport: "The reason for Al Ahly's draw is not just today; it has been the case for the last four matches as well. The composition of Al Ahly's midfield is not working at all."

"It’s not right for Zizou to play under the striker at all; when Zizou played a bit in his position, it improved Al Ahly's shape a bit."

Motaab continued, criticising the team's performance during the match: "The start for Al Ahly in the match was really difficult, and what is happening is tough from the coach, honestly. There is no innovation on the pitch and no solutions on the pitch."

Al Ahly have increased their tally to 10 points in third place in the league table, while Al Mokawloon Al Arab have reached 4 points in thirteenth place.
