Esteban Lobo receives initial call-up from Zidane for France

Esteban Lopuol, the Stade Rennais forward, has received a first call-up from Zinedine Zidane, the new head coach of the French national team, ahead of a potential debut with the 'Blues' in his career.

According to information from RMC Sport, the player who graduated from the Olympique Lyon academy received an initial call-up from Zidane, who will announce his first squad as coach of the French national team on Friday, September 18.

The French national team is preparing to play four matches in the new edition of the UEFA Nations League, starting with an away game against Turkey on September 25. They will then face Belgium away on September 28, before hosting Italy at the Stade de France on October 2, marking Zidane's first home appearance with the national team. They will conclude their fixtures with another match against Belgium in Saint-Denis on October 5.
