Lazio's Lotito responds to fans

Claudio Lotito, the president of SS Lazio, has responded to ongoing criticism from the club's fans, confirming that he does not understand the reason for the anger towards him despite the team's strong start in Serie A.

Claudio Lotito said: "What is happening against me is illogical. They say: the fans do not dream with Lotito, what does this mean? Lazio has made a good start in Serie A, isn't that enough?".

Lazio's president added: "This is illogical. Their only slogan is: Lotito must go," referring to the ongoing demands from a section of the club's fans for his departure from the position.

SS Lazio have achieved three consecutive victories at the start of the season, the latest being a win over Udinese by 2-1, raising their tally to 9 points and placing them third in the Serie A table, behind AS Roma and Inter on goal difference.
