Giggs reveals how Manchester United missed out on Mbappé

Ryan Giggs has revealed intriguing details about Manchester United's opportunity to sign Kylian Mbappé when he was a young player at AS Monaco.

Ryan Giggs said: "I watched Mbappé when he was at AS Monaco and he was an exceptional talent, so I advised Manchester United's scouts to go and watch him."

The Manchester United legend added: "After a while, I asked them what happened, and they told me: We weren't completely sure about his abilities, so we backed off from signing him!".

Ryan Giggs explained that Manchester United scouts have indeed followed Kylian Mbappé during AS Monaco's match against Paris Saint-Germain, but they were not convinced of the necessity to move for a transfer.
