McTominay return date after surgery
SSC Napoli has officially announced the successful surgery of midfielder Scott McTominay to treat a minor and benign heart rhythm disorder.
Manchester United has confirmed that McTominay underwent a successful catheter ablation procedure at Spire Hospital in Manchester.
The player is set to receive a two-week break before resuming training with the team in September, while the date of his return to matches will be determined according to the developments in his condition and rehabilitation program.
This injury comes as a temporary setback for SSC Napoli, who will miss the services of Scott McTominay during a number of upcoming matches, most notably the anticipated encounter against Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League.
SSC Napoli hopes to quickly regain the services of their Scottish midfielder, who is considered one of the key players in the team's midfield. His return to matches after the international break will depend on his physical and medical readiness.
