Kvaratskhelia: I believe in everything in life and football
Georgian Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, star of Paris Saint-Germain, spoke about his chances in the race for the Ballon d'Or, asserting that simply being among the nominees is a great honor for him.
Khvicha Kvaratskhelia stated in remarks reported by the French newspaper "L'Équipe": "Let's see what life has in store for me, I am ready for anything!".
Regarding the possibility of winning the Ballon d'Or despite not participating in the World Cup, he explained: "I think it doesn't depend on me, but on the people who make the decision. However, being part of this competition is a true honor and pleasure! In life, as in football... I believe in everything."
The Georgian star added: "When players and legends like Michel Platini or Toni Kroos say that I deserve this award, it makes me very happy. Even if there is only one person in the world who thinks I deserve something, that brings me joy."
Kvaratskhelia concluded his remarks by saying: "This means that I am doing my job correctly, and I want to continue delivering the same level."
