Mido criticises Zamalek SC officials

Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former star of Zamalek SC, has attacked some officials at the club over the financial losses that the club has suffered in recent times.

Mido said on his show, Awdat Al-Lebs, broadcast on Al-Nahar channel: "Zamalek SC has suffered huge financial losses recently," pointing out that negligence and some people's lack of knowledge of the law have caused the club to lose around 350 million Egyptian pounds.

He added: "Zamalek SC lost 350 million Egyptian pounds due to the negligence of some and their lack of knowledge of the law, and they make reckless decisions," continuing: "No one will be able to fool Zamalek SC's fans; this fanbase cannot be bought."

Ahmed Hossam Mido pointed out that Zamalek SC fans have developed a strong awareness that prevents them from being exploited or directed, emphasizing that their main criterion is the interest of the club only. He explained that this audience prioritizes the club's interests above all else, citing previous instances where fans criticized the management despite the team achieving consecutive victories.
