Courtois: We faced a big opponent, and this is how I saved Hakan's shot

Thibaut Courtois appeared in press statements following Real Madrid's 2-1 win against Inter in the first round of the UEFA Champions League at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Regarding the lack of scoring effectiveness, he said: "Against Real Betis, it was a match we should have won, but we lacked the finishing touch, and today there was also a bit of that. We capitalized on their mistakes, but in open play, we failed to score, and the same happened against Betis."

Regarding his save from Hakan Çalhanoğlu's free kick: "Due to bad luck, Rashford scored in my goal in the clásico from the angle I was responsible for, as he struck it very well but I moved a bit.
