Güler receives best young player award in UEFA Champions League for last season

Arda Güler, a Real Madrid player, has received the award for Best Young Player in the UEFA Champions League for the 2025/26 season, just before the kickoff of the match against Inter at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The Turkish star has received the award after being selected by the technical observers team of UEFA, in recognition of his outstanding performances during the last edition of the tournament.

Güler has participated in 14 matches with Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League, starting 13 of them. He scored two goals, both coming in the second leg of the quarter-final against Bayern Munich, and provided 3 assists.

The Turkish midfielder received the MVP award during Real Madrid's victory over Juventus in the group stage of the tournament.

UEFA has introduced the 'Future Player' award instead of the Best Young Player award in the UEFA Champions League, aiming to honor players who show remarkable development and outstanding levels throughout the season.
