Zamalek beat Abu Qir for Fertilizers 2-0 in the Egyptian League

Zamalek SC secured a victory against Abu Qir Fertilizers with two goals to nil in a match held this evening at Cairo International Stadium, as part of the fourth round of the Egyptian League.

Mohamed Ismail scored the first goal for Zamalek SC against Abu Qir for Fertilizers in the 17th minute of the match, then Ahmed Sherif added the second goal in the 87th minute.

With this result, Zamalek SC's tally rises to 10 points, occupying the top position in the Egyptian League table, while Abou Qir Fertilizers remains on 3 points in 15th place.

Zamalek SC will play their next match against Étoile Sportive de Djibouti on Saturday, September 12, in the second leg of the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

The first leg of the preliminary round match between Zamalek SC and ÉS Port, which took place last Friday, ended with a victory for the whites by a score of 2-1.

Abu Qir for Fertilizers will face Al Ahly FC on Tuesday, September 15, in the fifth round of the Egyptian League.
