Aubameyang: I followed my father's advice... Thank you, Marseille

Gabonese Pierre Aubameyang, Olympique Marseille striker, sent a farewell message to his team’s fans after agreeing to move to Al-Qadisiyah, Saudi Arabia, during the current summer transfer market.

Aubameyang said in His message via “Instagram”: “Thank you, Marseille. I spent an emotional year, and I would like to take advantage of the moment to thank all the club’s employees, including crews, players and fans.”

He added: “I am keen to Following my father's advice, without him I would not have reached the point I did, which is why I made the decision to leave and look at my next step. It is time to start a new chapter in my career.”

Aubameyang continued: “I thank Mr. Frank Court, the club’s owner, and Mr. Pablo Longaria, the CEO, for accepting the decision of my departure.

The former Chelsea and Arsenal star concluded by saying: “Thank you, fans, for the warmth and passion given to me, and for getting to know you and the Velodrome Stadium.”
