Modena announces signing of Andrea Belotti

Modena have officially signed Italian striker Andrea Belotti from Cagliari on a contract until June 30, 2027. He will wear the number 11 shirt.

Andrea Belotti, 32, arrives at Modena with a wealth of experience, having surpassed 180 goals in professional football. He has had a long career at the highest levels of Italian football, alongside an overseas stint with SL Benfica.

Torino is the most significant stop in the Italian striker's career, having played for the team between 2015 and 2022. He made 251 appearances, scoring 113 goals, and also captained the side, becoming one of the club's most prominent symbols.

After leaving Torino, Belotti played for AS Roma, ACF Fiorentina, and Como, before embarking on his first experience outside Italy with SL Benfica, where he also participated in the Champions League, before returning to Serie A with Cagliari.

On the international stage, Belotti has played 44 matches for the Italy national team and scored 12 goals. He was part of the squad that won the UEFA Euro 2020 title in 2021, after defeating England in the final at Wembley Stadium.
