Piqué: Historical refereeing errors tend to favour Real Madrid, and this is how Barcelona wins

Gerard Piqué has entered a new social media debate after responding decisively to a user on TikTok who suggested there is only one way for FC Barcelona to win.

Piqué said in statements reported by the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo": "Yes, there is only one way for FC Barcelona to win, and that is to play very good football, and that is why we are known."

"We have won many league titles, many UEFA Champions League trophies, and many trebles by playing very good football," he added.

The former FC Barcelona player addressed the refereeing controversy, stating: "You are always the ones bringing up the topic of referees, and I remind you, if you want, of the UEFA Champions League final against Juventus, and the goal by Mijatović that was illegal."

He continued: "Or one of the two finals against Atlético Madrid, Sergio Ramos' goal was offside, and it was also illegal."

Piqué concluded his statements by saying: "Therefore, there are many refereeing errors, but usually and historically, they have tended to lean slightly in favor of Real Madrid."
