Mbappé: I will vote for myself for the Ballon d'Or, and if I win the award it won't be stealing

Kylian Mbappé, the star of Real Madrid, has revealed his personal choice for the Ballon d'Or winner, confirming that he will cast his vote for himself, believing that his numbers and individual achievements make him worthy of the award.

Kylian Mbappé said in statements to the newspaper "L'Équipe": "Who will I vote for in the Ballon d'Or? I will vote for myself."

He added: "It is an individual award, and we look at what the player has done on an individual level. When I look at the arguments and the numbers, I look at myself and say: yes, it wouldn't be a theft if I won it."

The French star continued: "To be a top scorer in all the biggest competitions, where the best players play, such as the UEFA Champions League and the World Cup, I don't know if any player has achieved that before."

Mbappé concluded his remarks by saying: "I believe that making history should always be appreciated."
