Malagò: Italian talent development project is progressing positively with clear ideas
Giovani Malagò, the president of the Italian Football Federation, confirmed that the project to develop young Italian players is heading in the right direction, noting a sense of optimism and agreement among the various parties.
Malago stated on the sidelines of an event at the Luisa University: "I am in constant contact with Claudio Ranieri and all the people involved, and we talk a lot, and there is positive energy. The ideas are clear, and this is a project that should extend from the short to the medium term."
He added: "Finally, there is awareness, along with a change in mentality. I also see a readiness to embrace this kind of thinking, and daily projects are turning into reality, through the path that starts from Coverciano."
Malagò's statements come as part of the Italian Football Federation's efforts to enhance the presence of local talents and give young players more space in Italian football, which serves the future of the national team.
